Galeria Frente and Henrique Faria launch FRENTE + FARIA, a new platform for latin american art in New York.
Beginning September 2025, Galeria Frente (São Paulo) and Henrique Faria (New York) will launch FRENTE + FARIA, a new collaborative platform dedicated to Latin American art. The initiative will be based at Henrique Faria’s longtime gallery space on the Upper East Side: 35 East 67th Street, 4F, New York, NY 10065.
This strategic partnership brings together two galleries with complementary expertise and a shared curatorial mission. Galeria Frente, established in 2015 and known for its rigorous focus on Brazilian modern and contemporary art, joins forces with Henrique Faria, who for over two decades has specialized in Latin American geometric abstraction and conceptual practices.
FRENTE + FARIA will debut with Brasil: Heart & Soul, an exhibition that highlights the expressive range, historical depth, and cultural vitality of Brazilian artists. The opening reception will take place on Friday, September 5, 2025, from 6 to 9 PM at the New York gallery.
Henrique Faria will continue to operate his own program in the back gallery during this time. Also opening that evening is Jonier Marín: Amazonia Report, a timely presentation of the artist’s landmark series first conceived in 1975 to raise awareness of the systematic destruction of the Amazon rainforest — the green lung of the world. Decades later, the work remains as urgent and resonant as ever.
Together, these exhibitions mark the beginning of a dynamic collaboration aimed at expanding the visibility and impact of Latin American art in New York. Through exhibitions, artist projects, and international fair participation, FRENTE + FARIA will offer a renewed platform for dialogue, discovery, and critical engagement — rooted in shared values and curatorial depth.
